I have been with Frolo from the beginning. Finding it on Instagram to awaiting it’s long awaited launch!To have something so unique as our single parent lives just for us, is something we all needed (and deserved!).I have seen -and felt- what a big impact it hs had on many lonely lives going through bringing up children alone and feeling marginalised in our society. Frolo is OUR new name now and our new community. It’s uplifting, supportive, caring, informative…and life changing bc we have something for us. The only issue I have is that it wasn’t around when my children were little!😄😉but I have it now…One day I hope to see it become a name everyone knows us as. We’re Frolo’s through and through and that’s thanks to this amazing community(app)💚🌟

The best thing about the Frolo app is it’s purpose, to enable a community of Frolo parents (which includes solo parents of all kinds and co parents), to connect with each other and offer understanding and support. How the app actually works is developing and changing. I think feedback is welcome here. There is a newsfeed, way to find people geographically close to you, meet up section and chat section. How people use it will be slightly different for all users and it isn’t quite social media but has some commonality with it. I’ve made a good friend through the Frolo app, who lives nearby and I especially like the book club whose meetings are listed in meet up. Definitely worth trying if you are a Frolo!

I downloaded this app and was a little sceptical about it to start and it took me a little while to get the confidence to write something but I’m so glad I did!! It’s a great place to talk to other like minded single parents just to have a bit of a conversation when the children have gone to bed or to ask advice from the community. You can do this with your name or anonymous which is great if you don’t want to be identified or not feeling comfortable to share. There are so many lovely people on there and there is always someone to offer advice or just to cheer you on when life is a little hard. I would really recommend :)

As a single parent you think you are alone in the struggles you face whether it’s co parenting or solo parenting. On Frolo you really get to connect with people who get you and understand what you are going through. It really does have the most positive and uplifting community of parents I’ve come across and there is no judgement. I’ve joined during COVID so have yet to meet anyone in person but have partaken in the zoom nights and days they hold. Really is such a good place for us single parents. Weather it’s to vent, get tips meet anyone locally for play dates. This is where you need to be :). Highly recommend x
