Hi everyone this app is really great with no adverts or in app purchases . To help with everyone’s confusion I thought I had lost all my progress but that was fruit ninja classic whereas the Apple Arcade one is fruit ninja classic plus so this may be leading to everyone’s confusion. If you’ve lost your progress check you’re not getting the two games confused.

Just like the title says, this game is a classic. I’ve always loved Fruit Ninja since I was little and would play it with members of my family and a few friends on an iPad. (This was before events were added.) Then, years later, I saw this on the App Store and decided to give it a try. I got really into it at first and loved unlocking stuff. I think loads of the blades are awesome, however some like the king dragon one and the soap one (two of my faves) I barely use because 1. it doesn’t have the best abilities for any of the different types of games and 2. the soap blade doesn’t even have any functions yet! I know this will probably come soon but please add it! Another issue is the events themselves. At the time of writing there is currently some sort of starry-themed event going on but all the rewards (dojo, blade) were stuff I already had from a previous event/purchasing with starfruit! Like, if you’re gonna do these events please make new stuff for us to unlock! That is the whole point of them! Anyways, sorry for the long review, I don’t think I’d bother reading to the end of this if I saw this myself!

Welp good things don’t last forever

This game was good, very good, about a year ago I would say this games was the best game you could possibly buy for as little as 2 euros/pounds/dollars. Then an update came a few months ago- a pretty bad one that changed basically the whole game model when it came to blades, dojos and currency. That was very bad, but it got kinda worse when it came to my knowledge they made the game free again (uh oh). This gave me a slight idea about what was going to happen, and as halfbrick gave announcements of halfbrick plus, I knew this game was going to be ruined in one way or another. Surely it can’t be that bad right?Oh no, it’s far exceeded my expectations on how NOT to change your entire ecosystem as a company. Now, with halfbrick plus, you can spend £5 a MONTH on all access to games without ads. Now, I accept that halfbrick know absolutely nothing about the consumer market especially in mobile gaming. Making single games, paid with a relatively low initial price, was EVERYTHING that needed to be done to make people to carry on playing like me. Guess what, the average consumer will NOT want to pay £5 a month on mobile gaming especially in this current landscape!! And guess what, you get a LIFETIME subscription for the low low price of £100!!! (Yes this is for a mobile gaming company where prior to this you could have games permanently with an initial cost). Halfbrick, you have genuinely no idea what you are doing, it’s almost laughable and I’m in genuine shock at how bad they’ve managed to mess up their steps to building back gaming to what it used to be. Here’s the thing, I am in FAVOUR of adding fees to games, because I don’t like ads and it generally provides a better gaming experience. However, SUBSCRIPTIONS as outrageous as halfbrick plus should not be a thing!

I’ve been playing the original Fruit Ninja for a long time now. I’ve already got to level 48 on my phone. I’ve always loved playing it but today I went on it as usual and realised that it was completely different! Everything was made to be new and upgraded after a recent update and I know it’s good from your point of view but I really don’t like it now. 🫤 Do you think there’s a way you could make the original Fruit Ninja game before the update into a separate thing. I know that’s a lot to ask and you probably won’t read this review at all but I basically few up with the old version of the game. Is there a way to preserve the long time classic? If there is, I would be very grateful if you did. 🤞Keep making great games Halfbrick 😀👍
