Yes it’s time consuming to set up but it’s the most comprehensive and versatile building society app that I’ve found. Most account changes are possible within the app and they can be verified by email when there’s no mobile phone signal. The app can be installed on more than one device and customers can still contact the really helpful staff in the branches.

The set up is somewhat long however that is due to the intensive security measures put in place which makes it worth it as it. Face id runs smoothly while getting onto the app and being able to see, move and manage money is effortless. Makes life much easier! Big fan.

I hope you think that this “simple quick” installation routine is worth it. How many email confirmations and one time passcodes did I enter? That’s when I finally managed to get you to recognise me as a customer after four attempts (I might have guessed exactly how I’d entered my (optional) middle name if I’d been able to access the account normally, but no you’d decided that neither my username or password existed, which it most certainly did. So basically now I’ve got this super duper new system which basically gives me Face ID but nothing else I didn’t have before. Oh and if you press the settings icon on the opening screen, the app bombs out. Good job for you I’ve got a fixed account that doesn’t mature till 2028, or I’d have been out of this society so fast you wouldn’t have seen me for dust.
