We’ve teamed up with our partners at Healthera to improve how you order your repeat prescriptions online from Gallagher Pharmacy. Install the app on your phone and follow the simple set up steps. Once you start using the app, you’ll wonder why it was ever done the old way!

Our Gallagher Pharmacy App links with your local pharmacy to provide you with a seamless and integrated experience in providing your NHS services by managing medicines, ordering repeat prescriptions for your whole family and booking consultations and service appointments with your local branch of Gallagher Pharmacy.

You can choose from a range of locations across North Ayrshire. Once setup, you’ll get a reminder of when to re-order your medicines from the App and you are also able to track the journey of your repeat prescription requests at any time.

FAQ

Q: Prescription refills - can I order prescriptions on behalf of my children or elderly parents?

A: Yes, this feature is now available! Go to the Me tab and it should be self-explanatory to add a dependent.

Q: Will you work with my GP?

A: Yes. Your Gallagher Pharmacy team work with your GP practice. All your prescription requests will be sent for approval to your own GP. (This doesn't guarantee your GP will issue a prescription)

Q: If I already order my prescriptions directly with my GP, do I still need your app?

A: It is helpful to use the Gallagher Pharmacy App. You can still order from your GP; the improvement is now that if you use the app, your pharmacy will tell you when your medication is ready to collect or be delivered, and resolve any issues on behalf of you with your GP.

Q: What if my local pharmacy is not a Gallagher Pharmacy?

A: Any NHS pharmacy you choose is authorised to dispense your prescription medication. We recommend choosing the nearest Gallagher Pharmacy on the map that covers your area for collection (or delivery to those who may be housebound).

Q: Is my personal information safe?

A: Healthera is fully GDPR compliant and is accredited to ISO 27001:2022 demonstrating the highest levels of information security compliance.
