GB News 12+

Yes... GB News got off to a rocky start, but it's getting better, especially the flagship evening shows. Debates and real uncensored opinions - thank you! There have been shows that have been very biased on certain things, which has irritated me but equally there are other shows who have presenters with totally opposite views, so there is balance here. To all the people who want to cancel this channel, get back in your box and try watching it first before jumping on the bandwaggon.

The app is great. I can view live and catch up on shows. Really like that the video uses the picture in picture function so I can continue using my phone while the video continues playing in a smaller box - plenty of other apps don't use that functionality and need to learn from you.

Only reason for 4* rather than 5* is because the app doesn't contain all the great articles that are being published on the GB News website - maybe something to add in a future update?

The Breakfast show for me, is a little disappointing I feel there are too many presenters airing their differing opinions, which ends up in some sort of shouting fest, a cacophony of sound whereby nothing is understood. This is not something I particularly want in the morning. I would prefer to get the news headlines in depth first, and told in a calmer more serious manner, by someone more like Eamonn Holmes. Leave any deep heated discussions for later in the day, also without the technical sound issues which make uncomfortable viewing. Generally speaking l love most of what I’ve seen so far on GB News, particularly Andrew Neil, Dan Woottan, Simon McCoy & Alex Phillips. I’m sure as it’s early days these teething issues will be ironed out quickly, and GB News will become the most watched news channel in Great Britain!

The existence of GB News is so important. That doesn’t mean it does everything right or that one must agree with its selection of news items. The simple fact is that, I’m order for us to develop logical and reasoned opinions on any issue, the information we receive must be diverse. For so long now we have lacked an alternative News broadcaster to balance out the established broadcasters’ acceptance of critical theory as fact and their selection of News items to fit a particular narrative. GB News may do the latter as well. But now at least there is a bit of that on both sides of the scale and viewers can see that ‘victims’ are not always victims, that BLM is not always out to do good and that right wingers are not always racist bigots.
