Genius: Song Lyrics Finder 17+

Now I have seen allot of complaints regarding crashing and freezing on the lyrics page of Genius but I personally think it’s fine. It works great for me and never crashes. For me anyways it’s fine and don’t see we’re the complaints are coming from. The app is great and it works normally like any other app on my phone does.

Fantastic app In general with great information and annotation regarding song lyrics. The layout is good too. But then ah yes the bugs.
It’s TOO BUGGY. causes my iPhone 11 Pro Max to crash and act funny. And my iPhone is updated to the latest software version with no crashing bugs or lagging. The problems come from
The app. What’s the point in having such a fantastic app when it’s not usable? Is it not possible to get to the root cause of the issues? Maybe there’s too much going on in the app so the hardware is having a tough time to keep up. Too convoluted with so many ads and pop ups with so many moving animations in the gestures and options and side windows the algorithms are too intense. I’m just throwing some ideas out.
Maybe you need to strip it down and start over build from the ground up. Simplify the app. Because it’s unusable. Please do something different otherwise it’s deleted forever from my phone. Cmon now.

Not sure if it was just my phone or what it was, but its a really annoying app, last time I downloaded it there was a notification icon that wouldn’t go away. The app freezes every time I press some lyrics. It’s very very slow to get going and the search feature seems to disregard what you’re actually looking for in favour of the most popular song with a loose connection to what you put in the search bar. I don’t think it’s my phone that’s the issue since I have an 11 pro max, which definitely isn’t the bottleneck. Really shoddy but there is no alternative, if there was this app would be deleted faster than it’d take to find a song in the horrible search bar…
