A super app
Really useful, this app is powerful and broad whilst still intuitive to use. I used it extensively throughout my A-levels and in my dalliance with competitive mathematics, and still finding myself using it during my degree. One of the nice things about it is that it blends functional, spreadsheet, algebraic, and geometric tools more seamlessly than aything else I’ve ever seen. Another strength is that it looks pretty, so is great for presentations and demonstrations.
I honestly have no idea why it has mixed reviews.
Beautifully done
The briefest look at GeoGebra Graphing Calculator is enough to show how carefully it's made. My engineering degree was a long time ago, so I don't think I'm well qualified as a reviewer, and besides I've only just discovered the app, but I feel it's one of those tools – think BBEdit, Kaleidoscope, Pixelmator Pro, Things, Scrivener – that will be a pleasure each time I use it.
