Fun, simple retroness!
Loved playing this. Simple to play in the style of those classic 90s point and click games. Challenges are set to a borderline frustrating level, but that's just me! 😬
This game looks very simple and basic but don’t be fooled! It gives your brain a good workout, it’s a bit quirky and not like your usual escape games, it makes you think outside the box, which is quite refreshing. I am currently trying to work my way through Get Out 2 and really enjoying it, it’s challenging in a good way. I highly recommend these two games and I hope the dev continues to make more.
Hey,👋🏻 Mr Gonzalo Fernandez
Remember me? Probably not.
I wrote to you over three years ago and you said you were working on another Get Out Game (3?)
How’s it going?
I hope you are keeping well and the pandemic didn’t affect you to much, it would be nice if you could let your fans know if there is a chance of a new game (got to keep the brain going)
Best wishes to you and yours.
Very Challenging Very Good but.....
Ok. First off let me say that this is one of the best Escape Games in terms of challenge, quirkiness, humour, graphics, inventiveness. You need to think outside the box!
It took me several days to figure out this game as there is absolutely NO HELP whatsoever! No clues, nothing. The very occasional vague hint but you are pretty much on your own! I did get some help, via a friend who was in touch with the developer, otherwise I think I’d still be stuck in there.
This doesn’t require any complex maths or memorising letters, numbers, or anything really. Just you finding objects and then figuring out how and where to use them in order to finally escape.
This developer is a fiendish and clever bloke!
I absolutely HATED the way the inventory and action buttons worked. Dear Mr Fernandez, have you ever heard of RSI?
I don’t want to have to select a “pick up” icon every time I pick something up. I want a nice neat inventory across the bottom or down the side where I can easily see what I’ve got without opening a bag to have a look.
I want to use a knife - I want to tap on a knife and then on the target I want to cut
In this game..tap on the bag, tap the Pick Up icon, tap on the knife, tap on the bag, tap on the target
And this is over and over again.
That was my biggest bugbear.
Otherwise, I loved the challenge of this game and I loved the humour. Try selecting the Mouth action icon and tapping on things!
I would love to see more from this developer but please rethink the inventory and action process.
Suzie’s Great Escapes
Developer Response ,
Thanks for such a kind review Suzie!
I'll review the inventory bit for the next game - maybe just removing the bag altogether and have them all the time visible as you mention will help, although as you can use different actions just clicking them to use might not be an option... but defo will take it on board!
