Giddy is here to eliminate the negative emotions commonly experienced. We emphasize the importance of genuine and honest interactions - users can trust Giddy to prioritize authenticity and accountability of its members above all else.
Here’s how:
* Giddy understands your time is valuable. Each person has up to 7 conversation spots to fill at a time - so every interaction is taken seriously. A conversation can begin by a mutually accepted chat request. This can be initiated when commenting on a profile photo or prompt directly, or choose someone from your match list.
* No more wasted conversations. Once mutually agreed upon, a 10-day countdown to explore the connection starts.
NUDGE, NUDGE
*After a few days of inactivity in the chat, we send a little nudge to the ‘Ghoster’ to move things forward. Feel Stuck? We offer text suggestions to help you re-engage the conversation. We make it easy to unmatch if you’re not interested in pursuing the connection anymore - because no one should be left wondering where they stand.
AWAY MESSAGE FEATURE
* You’re busy, they’re busy. Set a customized away message to let your connections know when it’s just that. Interact with others in the same way you desire to be treated.We encourage our members to strive for personal growth and accountability.
ZERO TOLERANCE FOR BAD BEHAVIOR
Members can report inappropriate behavior or content easily within the app. Scammers, dabblers, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated on Giddy. Interact with others in the same way you desire to be treated.

Update issues
Won’t let me view my matches profile. How can I know what they look like and what they want if I can’t even view their images and bio... Are you expecting users to start conversions out off thin air, just going off their matches age and name? And not their common interests, desires etc.
Also make it so u can see how far away my Matches are. I don’t care about how far away people I haven’t matched with are (which is all the information the app shares) I don’t want to be wasting time messaging someone 100 miles away. It seems stupid providing such information of non matched users but not matched users.
And my last point. The app has a lotttt of people looking for some casual to put it mildly. If you could kindly include a filter which separates those looking for some causal and those looking for something serious.
I know your apps brand image/identity etc is all about serious matches. But at the end of the day your apps users for the most part do not reflect this.
Good but buggy
I m using Flip app couple of days now. I want to report couple of issues on my phone with ios15 iPhone 6s app version 6.0.7
1. The app notification badge shows a number even though I don’t have any active notifications to see. There isn’t any way to clear it
2. When I have a match, if I try to initiate conversation, the app freezes with blank white screen. I have to kill the app and relaunch to initiate a conversation. I have to repeat for every match
3. If I want to do an unmatch someone whom I spoke to before, when I click unmatch, the app freezes again with blank white screen, I have to kill and relaunch the app to unmatch.
Nobody within 200 miles what utter trash
Used it today for the first time and after getting verified I was excited to see who is around. I couldn’t believe that when I used discover on every different combination of walking, eating, cinema etc, the only people who came up in a very broad search ie aged 33 to 53 were a small number of people around London. I live in Sheffield. Nobody for 200 miles thank god I didn’t subscribe. Worst app ever downloaded
