Giftr - GIF Maker 4+

Needs individual frame speed

Speed control limited - can only slow to 1 second and no individual frame duration control. Also thumbnails need to be viewable bigger to help reordering to get 5 stars.

What were Apple thinking?!

Downloaded from Apple’s recommendation and was severely disappointed.

Immediately on open was presented with high price premium packages before I’d even seen what the app was about. No clear option to decline either which I felt was grabby and stupid. Why would I pay for something I haven’t seen?

Then the app crashed as soon as I gave it access to my photos and had to force start it to even see what the app was about. When I finally got into the app’s functionality I was presented with a mismatch of my photos, (how they have been selected I have no idea as it wasn’t recent or even by type or location?) and all of them were animated in a very basic and jarring fashion that didn’t fit together or make any logical sense at all. As far as image galleries go, it was downright offensive.

I immediately closed the app, never to return. 100% do not recommend this pushy app, can’t believe Apple are recommending it!

Thanks for your comment. First of all, you don't need to have the Pro version in order to use Giftr. Most features are available with the free version.

Secondly, kindly send us a screen recording of the crash on hello@giftr.cool so we can debug it since this is the first time we get a review or a message about a crash like this.

As for memories, if you don't like the memories the app created, you can always create your own GIFs, sort them in any order you want, change their playback and edit them as you want using our various editing tools.

As for the subscription onboarding screen that appears the first time you use the app, you can always close it and it won't appear again.

Was fun, stopped working

I found this app and at first found it very useful, even in the free version, very easy to create gifs without much of a tutorial. However for no reason it stopped working and continuously says I need to add two or more pictures in order to work, when I’ve clearly added 5 or more! Thought it was a bug so deleted and re downloaded it but same thing happens. Tried on another device and my friend did the same on hers and both same results which indicate there is a bug or flaw in the system.
Contacted app makers and supplied screen shots and video but no response since or any updates.

Revisited this app to see if any bugs had been fixed but no you still cannot save anything unless you go pro, which is sad because it had a lot of potential. Same sad story several week later
