Who will get fired for this?
App User newbie
I left a App Store review a few weeks back which seems to have disappeared.Glassdoor is ruined. I log on and want to read reviews. Now I log on to random people chatting. The last time I logged on it was some woman complaining about how difficult it is to date as a single black mum with a career. Honey, I really don’t care. Dating is hard for everyone. Keep that topic off of Glassdoor. I just want to see company reviews. Not Social Media posts. I chat and network and job hunt on LinkedIn. On Glassdoor I want to see more company details and background. NO social media posts. I just received an email threatening me I’ll loose access update if I don’t share some data such as salary or review. So I thought I’ll leave a review here. I may lose access but you also lost an app user. Time for someone to build a new app! Is there an alternative out there yet? Can’t be that hard to build. Somebody go do it. Glassdoor is no longer useful.
No salary filters or option to sort by date posted etc

Frankly, the app is a total mess! No salary filters and no clear salary indication in short summaries or anywhere unless it’s mentioned inside the post somewhere... (HELLO... this is a JOB search app!!!..), no options to sort results by date/time posted or anyhow!!!... all results just appear randomly - 2hr, 3days, 2days, 6hrs, 4days, 40mins... - sooo inconvenient! No multiple choice options of industries or job type (full-time, part-time, contract etc - you can only pick ONE or all by default)Another disadvantage is that you can’t just apply for a job within the app - it always takes you to an external site and you often have to go through a lengthy application process and/or register somewhere else. The only positive I see is that it seems to generate more results in general for the same keywords I use in some other apps - BUT as mentioned above you have to go through lots of details filtering them MANUALLY as of course most of them are still totally irrelevant... And another minus - while you can add posts you’re interested in into faves, there is no way of deleting irrelevant posts, so they’ll reappear again and again and again afterwards...Please improve ASAP.
Very useful

It would be a 5 star rating for me if they could improve their reviews-leaving process. I have left reviews about my past employers, both good and bad, just like the businesses I happened to have worked for. They all have been rejected and did not appear on the portal. I am not sure what is the point of Glassdoor if one cannot leave an honest feedback. I will carry on using their website and the app because I like they way I can upload my CV and it looks really good, search for jobs which aren’t listed on Indeed and read reviews. Even though I couldn’t post the reviews myself about some of the companies, other employees have covered my own emotions pretty well in their feedback anyway.
