Disappointing

First few times I used the app I was really impressed. However, times are never accurate. 40 mins has been 2 hours on several occasions. Chat hardly ever works. No desire to communicate any delay to customer either by phone, sms or message on the app. Most shockingly, apart from one time, when I was compensated with credit, the other times they did not even say sorry or offer explanations. They just say “ do you want to cancel?” when what I really want is my food for my family. I am going back to using other companies that don’t have such sophisticated apps but let you know how your order is progressing and call you when there’s a problem.

Basket disappears if payment not successful

I was just trying to do the shopping. Well, I’ve tried 4 times, used 2 different cards. So I am in the UK and was doing shopping for someone in different country. I’ve tried to pay, the app redirected me to my bank app for approval. I’ve obviously approved and then gone back to Glovo, but i the “approval” screen was still there and no way out of it. I’ve closed the app and re open and had payment screen “processing” but I received “checkout error 0” All the contents of my basket disappeared … I’ve tried twice- every time doing shopping for about 70 items, then I changed card and exactly the same situation happened. I spoke with customer service and guy asked if my app if updated - it was as I only downloaded it evening before. He advised re install and try again. Not sure if there is a bug but either way, could the app be changed so the items don’t disappear? I spent quite a bit of my day trying to shop with no luck. Many thanks

FRAUD!!!

I paid for products which were not delivered and got products I didn’t order. Very dissapointed. don’t waste your time with Glovo grocieries Reply: I did contact customer service, its said 24h to reply. Now its been two days and no reply. Its been a week and no one even bother to contact me for a refund... Its been 22 days since I sent a complaint. No one answers my messages. Your app has a lot of issues you should resolve immediately. The mail problem is that you can only contact customer service from the email generated when you signed in to glovo. But those generated emails are not the emails of the customers but some kind of weird email addresses which never exist. So that way you can not contact customer support via email and Glovo can avoid replying to your complaints or give you a refund. Nice try to cheat the clients. Its simply a FRAUD and we all should contact the consumer Ombudsman and the police to make sure that kind of company like Glovo will not exist when they don’t respect the basic customer rights
