Having used Gmx for a few year I have felt secure and stable with my emails. That works for me. I enjoy the fact that I was once able to have other email addresses that could be directed to my GMX account, it’s not as simple now, as I can’t remember how to solve this. Now it’s another problem, I am not getting emails to my Inbox or Unread folders, everything is going to my Trash folder for some reason, so I move them to my Inbox, then I read and action them, I then delete them as normal, then I return to the Trash folder to retrieve the next lot to do the same only to realise it is the very same emails I have just deleted.I wonder then if you are able to find me a solution to this error and let me know as soon as possible as although it is Christmas, I have no other option than to work through for my university studies

I have been using the GMX APP for a couple of months and over night it logged me out a i thought nothing of it at first I went to log back in and after logging in on one page another page came up in German and a pop up said that logging in on that page and my details will be shared with the German site sorry but you don’t have my permission to use my details with any one. Up until today my only complaint was the ads that come up looking like emails. That is extremely frustrating. I have now deleted the APP.After reading the other review saying it was sorted I reinstalled the app again only no it hasn’t been sorted. Still coming up with German login page as well which I refuse to fill in as you DO NOT have my permission to share my details. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS APP FIND ANOTHER FREE EMAIL THAT DOESN’T SHARE DETAILS AND DOESN’T PUT FAKE EMAILS IN THAT ARE ACTUALLY ADS. I WILL NOT BE TRYING THIS ONE ANYMOREI have a different email account, I now use my other email account to open my GMX email on my phone instead of using my laptop. (I have 2 email accounts one for news, offers etc that companies want to send me and one for personal use) I now use just one email account to open both different email accounts I have.

The app was very easy to set up on i-pad, but troublesome on i-phone. Every attempt to register on the phone gave a page with instructions in German, until I decided to make a final try and then delete the app, whereupon it produced instructions in English. Conversely, there was no problem at all on i-pad.After setting up, it has been very easy to use on both devices. It is particularly good with attachments, which go easily into a message-a pleasant change from my other e-mail services. All that remains to be seen is whether GMX will be reliable in the long term. I hope so-I have gone to them after the last straw of yet another un-announced outage by TalkTalk.

I only write a review, when something is exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad. In this case it is, unfortunately and to my annoyance - the latter. For years I have had a GMX account and was happy with the app all along, it was reliable, safe and I never experienced problems with it - until recently. The app suddenly crashed on me and after logging in again, it referred me to a second German login site. I was apprehensive about this first, but thought for the sake of the app working again I will enter my details. My details are not accepted. I keep uninstalling the app and reinstalling it - to no avail. It’s very frustrating to having to access my email account over the website now. I read the reviews and I don’t seem to be alone with this problem. This problem keeps persisting and is not being sorted out, that’s why I am giving this very low rating - really it should even be a 1 Star. I hope that something will be done about this ASAP.
