Go I-PACE 4+

Great app idea but would be good if you could customise the cost per kw in the settings as I mostly charge at home so would be nice to use the cost from by electricity bill for more accurate data

Fabulous app from Jag. I preordered an I-pace on launch day but have never had an electric car before. This app has measured all my journeys and tells me what range I would be likely to achieve, how often I will have to charge it, how many charges would be at home and how many would be at en-route chargers, and also gives a running cost comparison with petrol and diesel cars. It has helped convince me that the I-pace will work for me and I now can’t wait to get mine. Great app for those who are uncertain about whether an electric car will work for them or not.

Sometimes the statistics don’t update for 1-2 days. I can’t tell if it makes any difference to the update frequency whether the app is open or not. I’m told that my typical range is 213 miles, and last week I made a round trip of 276 miles in total from home, yet the statistics screen shows that I would need 2 home charges a week and zero on the road, which is clearly not possible. Shame, because otherwise the app seems quite useful.
Update: 4 weeks after installing it, auto tracking went from capturing 90% of journeys to 50%. One week later it will not track anything any more.
