Description

This app allows iPhone users to directly book and check their taxis with Go Taxis.

Bookings can be made as soon as possible or for any future date and time.

This app allows all bookings to be checked (even if booked by other methods i.e. by phone) and live tracking allows the location of vehicles to be visible at all times.

Note bookings made for ASAP may depend on availability of vehicles.

Doesn’t work

Downloaded app, request pin a few times and doesn’t work.
See issue reported but nothing done about it back in February.
Don’t bother trying

Needs some work

Downloaded the app as I was having trouble getting through by phone from the train I was on. The app is quite primitive and unrefined. The biggest problem is that when I had entered the necessary details - name, where from, where to and when - the app told me that my request was being checked and …nothing. No confirmation (unlike telephone bookings where a text cinfirmation is almost instantaneous) nor any facility to check bookings made. In the end I rang my wife, who rang the taxi company who confirmed they had the booking, so she then rang me back to tell me.
As I said, nice idea but needs some work on what should be a fundamental feature: confirmation of the booking.

No pin set

Downloaded app and put all my details in as requested and sent said it would send pin so I waited and waited nothing so requested a pin no. again and nothing. What a waste.
