Good Idea- getting there

Just made one order so far. I found the system very unclear as it wasn’t possible to request a delivery time-slot through the app. without sending a message to Go-Getters staff. They responded promptly saying the food was on its way but even so, I had to wait a further half-hour.
The system depends on the restaurant making the food being in a position to have it ready for the Go-Getter driver, and I appreciate that things can go wrong here, as they seem to have done in my case.
But the Go-Getter staff followed up my complaint courteously and offered a credit note, so my initial uncharitable thoughts about the rating have now been revised! I look forward to the next occasion.

Personal and Professional

The first time I used this site was when storm Dudley and Eunice were wreaking havoc. Understandably restaurants closed early, but the one I chose had not activated the “early closure” notice on the recently LIVE GoGetter site. The driver found the restaurant closed when he went to collect the food, and notified HQ who rang me immediately and sincerely apologised, refunded my order with a little extra as an apology, and the driver waited for me to place another order and delivered it speedily. The next day the restaurant called to apologise and offered their own apology gift. Completely understandable teething problem that was handled personally and professionally and left me feeling valued and well fed. I am looking forward to my next order.

Delivered for GoGetters

I worked for the company delivering food for 3 months at the end of lockdown because I needed some extra cash. It was so convenient, every shift ran smoothly, the other drivers I met at restaurants were lovely and the team in the office at the other end of the phone were so supportive and friendly.
Any time I needed help the office were available immediately, everyone I spoke to was efficient, relaxed and professional. I felt part of a very cool, upcoming team. Everyone involved in the company, cared. It was a pleasure to be part of for a small time. I would highly recommend working for this company & using their services.
