Depending where you live, you may be unlucky enough not to be able to use GoJek services. Where I live, not all services are available. But, I do get the basics: GoFood, GoCar, GoRide, the parcel delivery services and GoPay, as well. Not forgetting the internet of things, GoJek works! What are the dynamics between the pencil pushers and service drivers? Plus, we see the GoPay tips listed in our app history receipts but is omitted in the email receipt statement. What if we leave a cash tip? What happens, then? Let’s get those pencils back to work, shall we?

Good potential but increasingly disappointing.

Increasingly disappointing. Since one failed card transaction my chosen credit card was removed from the app and I have not been able to re-add it. I don’t think anyone at customer support has a clue how to sort this out as I keep being told to just re-add it, or reinstall the app. The equivalent of being told to try switching a computer off and then on again to fix the problem. I tried deleting the other card on there, and adding my chosen card, it didn’t work; I deleted and then reinstalled the app, it didn’t work. I tried adding on my other chosen card (that I originally used with the GOJEK app), it still does not work.I was a keen user of GOJEK when first introduced to Singapore but Grab, though initially much more expensive are often cheaper rides again and usually available where GOJEK is often now more expensive at non-peak times and it takes a LONG time to get taxis in the morning or there are just no drivers. I am not very convinced by GOJEK anymore and am not using the app as much which is a shame as they seemed better at first. Do they have enough drivers? Do they have a good enough infrastructure. Literally every single customer support request is met with the exact same ‘we are dealing with high volumes’ so will take time to get back to me. It is usually about 3 days to respond.Not being able to use my chosen credit card is one of the main reasons why I mostly use Grab again as well. Also they can do two drops, where GOJEK still cannot. This is very behind the times.GOJEK: if you want to compete in Singapore I suggest you improve quickly! Best of luck because I want you to do well!

I am extremely disappointed with Gojek’s unfair policy for changing ride destinations. Unlike other ride-hailing apps that recalculate the tariff based on the new destination, Gojek charges you the full fare to the original destination—even if the new destination is much closer.In my case, I changed the destination because the original location would have been closed by the time I arrived. However, I was still charged three times the cost of the new destination! I reached out to Gojek’s support team to explain the situation, but they were unhelpful and unwilling to address the issue.This policy is unreasonable and penalizes customers for making adjustments. It’s frustrating that Gojek chooses to prioritize unfair terms over providing a fair and logical service. I hope they seriously reconsider this policy, as it’s not in line with customer-first principles. Until then, I cannot recommend this app.

Something that ideally wouldn’t happen but does... often happen... Leaving behind an item in a Taxi. I Forgot my wallet in a go jek cab a morning driving to the office. Found out just after I closed the door and the taxi was gone. No way to contact the driver. Called the help center. The App should allow you to call the driver in such cases (including compensation to driver for extra course to be fair) but nothing is planned for such a common case. You can call an overseas call center that will refuse to give you the driver’s contact and will send you an email *4h* later stating they couldn’t contact their driver (who’s primary way to be able to work is with a working phone). By now the wallet and its content had disappeared. Surprise. A very costly and annoying situation that could be easily prevented if we were dealing with modern mobile technology and both parties had a working phone. Wait, what?
