Decent
I’m a massive Golden Axe fan, and this is pretty good. The sound isn’t always 100%, and the controls take a bit of getting used to, but the emulation’s otherwise pretty good. But then, this being the Mega Drive port, it should be flawless given however many times quicker the processor is in an iPhone. I think it would’ve been nicer to have had the arcade port instead, as arguably more people may have played this version already! I certainly know it inside out, whereas my 10p coins only got me so far aged 7...
One more thing - paid £1.99 to have the ads removed only to find you still get a quick single-screen ad on startup, which I’m a bit miffed with.
I’m having problems with 2player mode ??
I have been trying to host a game with my son but it doesn’t work it’s just 1player mode on two screens .
Add extra button for two button moves
I’m a old retro fan when it comes to sega games, however every true gamer of these classics knows for some moves you need to press two buttons together which is virtually impossible to play the game with its full potential as its on a touch screen. I suggest adding an extra button for the two button moves to make the game play better. It is not much fun knowing I can’t play it properly and pull a move which makes my gaming better. Fix this and I would 100 give a 5 star rating.
