A few behind the scenes improvements to keep your handicap up to date.

New: your Handicap ID. Your CDH, GHIN, Golf ID or federation number, kept on your profile for when a competition entry asks for it. Only you can see it. Signing in and signing up now open on a real golf hole rather than a plain panel. When everyone in your event has finished, the app now asks the host to close it. Fixed: the handicap allowance tip described the wrong behaviour. With it switched off, every player uses their full course handicap, not scratch. Fixed: Your Dream 18 now shows only on your own profile.

Logging rounds is now open to everyone. Post as many rounds as you like and keep your handicap index up to date, with no limit and nothing to unlock first. Your history, trends and best rounds are all included. Joining a friend's tournament and scoring in it is open to everyone too, so anyone you invite can play. Premium is now the AI Scorecard Scanner and hosting your own tournaments with a live web leaderboard. New: Your Dream 18. Your best ever score on every hole of a course, collected onto one scorecard.

There are new ways to play. Team formats: play Foursomes, Greensomes, Gruesomes, Chapman, Texas Scramble and Ambrose. News and guides, now in the app. Read the latest golf tips, handicap know how and updates right from your home screen, and open our most useful handicap guides without leaving the app. We also sharpened tournament scoring: your playing handicap is now worked out correctly when you join an event, so the leaderboard stays fair and accurate.

Now you can play live events with friends. Create a competition, invite players or share a join code, and follow the leaderboard as it updates live while everyone is out on the course. Stableford and stroke play are supported, with automatic tie breaks and optional handicap allowances. As always, your rounds still update your handicap in the background.

Bug fixes and improvements.

• A faster, simpler profile setup, with an easier way to enter your handicap and find your home club. • You can now change your home club any time from Settings. • New courses added, including The Montgomerie Maxx Royal in Belek, Turkey. • Performance improvements and bug fixes throughout.

Round entries now save as you go, so you can close the app mid-round and pick up where you left off. Editing a round opens cleanly every time (the blank-form glitch is fixed). The leaderboard now shows an Establishing handicap badge for players still building up to 20 rounds. Small fixes to profile avatars and copy.

You can now log a 9-hole round on either the front or back nine, not just the front. The AI Scorecard Scanner has been taught about this too, so a back-9 scorecard reads into the right holes. Gallery photo scans are also more reliable — large library photos no longer trip the "too large" error.
