Fantastic App but Ads a problem
I'm really impressed with the app and the quality of the news it provides. However, the frequent Google ads that keep opening can be a bit disruptive. I'm hopeful that there might be changes in the future to address this.
Brilliant App
I live in the UK, about 3 months ago my daughter recommended this app, with Covid, leaving Europe, economic uncertainty and so much bad news from my default news outlets. I thought give it a go, it is now the first app I open on my phone and there are always great positive stories that start my day the right way. The stories are good on so many levels unbelievable - good things are happening in the world - we are all people on a round planet let’s be happy together 😊❤️ finally thx Georgie for letting me know about this app - love you and have a nice day ❤️❤️❤️
Wholesome news, and popup ads every 30 seconds
Not much to say, a great app for a wonderful site, completely ruined by egregious levels of advertising. You get ads down the bottom of each article (scrolling with the page, visible at all times), and you also get actual POPUP ads, every thirty seconds or so while reading an article. Annoying, stupid, greedy, ans just made uninstall the app.
Stick with using the site via Adblocked browser unless you want your good news to be interrupted every thirty seconds by pure irritation.
