Ratings and Reviews
I have been on G+ for some time now and it’s been really fabulous, I get to talk to some respectable people, read some very interesting things, see some amazing pictures and post I wouldn’t have seen or known otherwise.
G+ in opinion I much prefer G to Facebook
I get to talk to some really interesting people, plenty of which shares the same beautiful atmosphere for others to enjoy
This also a much older and respected folks
I know sometimes some idiot will post some really disgusting pictures, but you give us the opportunity to block these people
Please reconsider your option and keep us going.
Some are very lonely and find friends here
Some are sick and find kindness in others
So please be a good buddy and keep us together, I know I would appreciate it very very much.
Have a great day
Great in places, needs improvement
I love some of the features and this is my preferred social network, but there are some poor limitations.
Posts can’t be sorted chronologically and often appear out of order.
Google photos integration is poor. Sharing a video or photos can end up with the viewer seeing a video inside a webbiew of google photos within the google+ app. Why not always switch to the native app?
Uploading on mobile can be a bit hit and miss. Sharing a video or photo that has already been synced to Google Photos should be near instant, but it appears as though the files are uploaded again. Going via a browser to the google plus doesn’t have the same problem, and posts embedding google photos are nearly instant.
Notifications can also be a very hit and miss affair. On some organisation accounts I get notifications!of new posts, on others I don’t and I can’t see any difference in settings.
Lastly, the closure of the public google plus is a really bad idea. Google led the way with understanding how to properly manage privacy of posts. Now you are confined to only your organisation. Such a bad idea and a big gap in the google eco system of products.
A Great App Will Be Missed.
I have always loved using Google+ and it’s so sad that today’s the day (April 2nd) the App will be closed down. I would like to say a massive Thank You to the Team who made this such a great and amazing App, I absolutely loved it.
I am so sad that it’s came to an end. Apple will be removing this App from the Stores soon as it’s no longer in use.
Rest In Peace - Google+. Thank you for the amazing memories. I’ll keep them forever as long as I live!
