I needed to rebook my travel dates, and their agent Tanvi P. outright lied, claiming that the airline does not allow changes. To verify, I contacted the airline directly, and they confirmed that changes were possible, proving that Gotogate was simply making excuses to avoid assisting me.Things got worse when I spoke to Tanvi P., who was not only unhelpful but also extremely rude. When I asked for an escalation, she boldly claimed there is no escalation matrix and that she is the “owner of Gotogate”—the final point of contact. This level of arrogance and lack of professionalism is absolutely unacceptable for a company handling travel bookings.Gotogate’s customer service is non-existent—they take your money and abandon you when you need support. Instead of helping, they mislead customers, refuse responsibility, and provide false information. Their only goal is to extract money with no regard for customer experience.Do yourself a favor and avoid Gotogate at all costs. Book directly with the airline or through a reputable travel agency that actually values its customers.
