Retrace locations fast

I used to use a similar app to help retrace and find locations of interest mark. That app is no longer available this does the same job and more. Some remote locations I need to go are not easily marked on conventional maps this allows you to do exactly that and then to retrace / navigate back to your maker. Easy to use clean user interface, I would prefer a few more options. What would make this app even better is for every marked location a list of nearby locations / attractions and directions to them on the compass view. Very useful app keep up the good work.

I use this app for a number of reasons. Firstly when I’m at work and I need to mark my starting point, I then know my safety area/RVP. Secondly I use it on the kids phones when we go Geocaching. I don’t give them the proper Geocaching app because they get distracted by all the other things those apps do- this one I just text them the coords and it’s a nice simple arrow to the location of the cache. What would be nice is to be able to import GPX files so I can send a bulk load of caches to them in one go and the Geocaches contained within the GPX all save under their original names but as separate Anchors- no other info from the GPX needed- just the locations. Great app and reccommend it to a lot of friends.

It's a simple app, but much more practical than all the other "find my marker" apps I've seen. The arrow is a good size, and you can set it to miles or kilometres (yards or metres). Set the app when you leave your car, railway station or whatever, and then six hours later the app points you back to where you started, tells you how far it is, and let's you get on with it. Simple.UPDATE!I've had to knock off two stars because all of a sudden, the pointer points 180 degrees in the wrong direction!! "Most" of the time.

Hello TImbellina! Let's check that your iOS settings are fine, because if you did some changes in iOS settings it may affect how the app works. Open Anchor Pointer > Settings > Support and follow instructions named "Park Car Shows Wrong Distance, What to Do?". Please bear in mind that Anchor Pointer based on GPS system, it can't pinpoint your location if you are inside a building. If you still have that problem, please contact with me by using same support screen. - Alex.
