Constant improvement well done Author!

I use this application with several Garmin handhelds for hill navigation and a throw back from the Car GPS days was “Proxmity points” these where primarialy used to indicate speed cameras and you could set the proximity distance. When the car approached the proxmity point the GPS would beep. I use this in the handhelds to indicate dangerous areas (Cliffs, sinkholes etc.) I think it is one of the subset GPS/ GPX commands - would really like this feature! Excellent GPX editor and it is getting better all the time, I am spreading the word in the hillwalking community!

The best editor I've found for the price of a beer in London

I've wasted many an hour trying to find a simple way of getting data from a spreadsheet onto a map. This is far and away the best I've found yet.

The software is intuitive, functional and has brilliant support. There's no subscription, no adverts, no hamstrung free mode with nags screens. It Just Works. Which is why you bought a Mac in the first place, isn't it.

I accept that it may not meet your use case. There are things out there costing either hundreds of times as much OR free things that will take you months to learn. But if this isn't better for you than either of those the Mac app store has always been good to me on refunds. But I'd be surprised if you want one.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your review. It’s good to hear you find the app so useful!

Great editor at a good price

I use this package for editing hiking trails produced with a Garmin Fenix or the Outdoors GPS app. on a phone. It is simple to edit out rogue points in trails where the GPS is poor (such as in mountain areas) and it is easy to combine trails and export the revised trail to phone apps for use in the field.

Program support is superb. I had a problem with combining trails and exporting to both Garmin Connect and the phone app. On contacting the developer I had an immediate reply and we were able to resolve the problem after several emails.

The package more than does the job and is excellent value. Hence the five stars.
