Wonderful game

This is the best presented and well thought out card game I’ve played online. I particularly like the number on the back of the cards telling you how many cards are left to draw.
My previous comment regarding missing cards was because I didn’t realise that when I lost I wasn’t seeing the opponents discarded card, when I play in real life we usually turn all the cards face up at the end.
I played online and can now happily confirm that I was wrong and indeed when you lose you don’t see your opponents last discarded card.

Rigged

Could of been a great game if it wasn’t as rigged as it is. Regardless developers reassurances that the card draws are random it’s very hard to believe as nothing this bad happens in real card games.
Adding this after about a year since my original comment.
I finally got to remove the app as it’s became even worse than it was before. For around four days I haven’t won single game. And even though I have had winning streaks, first, they never last, second, you’ll sure to hit such a bad luck after it that you’ll lose everything in no time at all. The odds are absolutely impossible to be this bad if they were random, so despite game developers keep saying to mine and other people complains regards same issue that it is a matter of chance I finding it very hard to believe it. Also noticed that your luck runs very bad in times when there’s sales promotions, it’s pretty obvious that this game is developed to make you buy worthless credits. I won’t be one of them ! I just wish I could give no stars at all as it’s blatant rip off, I do understand that someone is just trying to make a living out of this but if it’s not even 50/50 chance to keep players more interested and coming back again and again which is obviously not in the developers interests, it’s not even 30/70 chance and with the fact that you lose more than you win, with such a set up you’ll never win. Absolute liberty taking !

Dear Guest, we're sorry to hear you're not convinced of our app's fairness. Please note though that the distribution of cards in Grand Gin Rummy is generated randomly and not influenced by players' experience levels, the table entry, nor whether or not they make in-app purchases. The same conditions apply to each player and it is always the same generator that deals the cards.
We don't manipulate the deck to favor certain players as this is unethical and counterproductive as players would be unlikely to want to keep playing, let alone make a purchase. As you always play real opponents, any run of bad luck you have benefits them and not us.

They’ve destroyed to game

This was the best Gin game until a few days ago. A massive update has effectively rewritten the rule book as to how to progress through levels. They pontificate about the extra daily free chips (up from a few hundred to a few thousand) but the “cost” of playing each level has become disparate. For example, the second level costs more than the first but the trophy win is the same, and the cost jump between some of the higher tables is disproportionate.
You gain XP points to permit you to progress to different levels. This used to be achievable but now it is not as the XP movement, say in the quick table, is drastically traduced.
Rewards in the clubs side of things has reduced to the point of it barely being worth while.
We all know that the game is set up to entice us to buy more chips as this is what makes the developers their money. But now they have gone too far with this app and have engineered it to make us part with our money sooner, and at a greater rate.
I have been playing this game for a very long time and used to enjoy every game. The developers have just, within the last two days, over stepped the proverbial mark. Once my chips run out, I’m out. I will never return.
Be warned, this is no longer the best game. But it is the best for taking your money and making it difficult to progress.
