HealthKit usage: When enabled by the user, Gravitus charts HealthKit data in the app and allows the user to optionally record bodyweight values back to HealthKit.

Perfect

The perfect tracking app with complete flexibility and all the functionality anyone would need. The only app I’ve used that is clearly created by people who actually program and plan weightlifting. Did have some minor issues around loading and closing, but those seem to have been cleared up

Great app overall with one slight annoyance

Overall the app is fantastic for tracking workouts, gives you good data and far easier to review you past lifts on various exercises than routing through old notepads. One thing that is actually quite annoying is when the app is left idle for a certain period, this period doesn’t seem to be consistent and could be as little as a minute sometimes, the app “closes down” and it has to start up again and load all initial data. This process can take several minutes. It is particularly annoying if you are using the timed rest feature as by the time you load up the app to log your set more than your allotted rest period has already passed, rendering this feature useless. If this could be fixed such that the app does not reload itself whilst you have an active workout it would greatly improve user experience.

Really good and useful, slow loading sometimes

A really useful app, it’s great to be able to see what you lifted last time in order to achieve progressive overload or PR’s. The graphs visualisation could do with an improvement.

My only complaint is that at the start of a session adding the first exercise is a pain. Sometimes the new exercise search is just completely empty and you have to wait a good 10 minutes for it to load the database of workouts. I find myself having to log my first few sets in my notes manually before the app loads the exercises. Very frustrating.

If that was fixed it’d be 5/5. I considered supporting but 4.99 a month is extortionate in my opinion.
