I live right next to Green Park and walk through it regularly, so when I saw the billboards promoting events and asking me to scan a QR code for details, I did exactly that. Turns out the app is only accessible to people who work in one of the office buildings on site. As a local resident, I can’t see a single thing.This makes no sense. If the app is restricted to employees, don’t plaster QR codes across a public park that the wider community uses every day. I could theoretically attend these events, but I can’t even find out what they are or when they’re happening. The information is locked behind access I’ll never have.It’s poor communication, plain and simple. Either open the app to the public or take down the billboards. Don’t advertise something you’re not making available to the people you’re advertising it to.
