Greenshot is a light-weight screenshot software tool with the following key features:

NOTE: As some guys didn't find out how to start working with Greenshot, here's how: On the top of your screen is a clock. Somewhere on the left of it, you find a small G-icon. Click it. You also find the default hotkeys in the menu.
NOTE FOR CATALINA AND ABOVE: MacOS Catalina introduced major security changes and now some function regarding the operating system (like file handling, camera and also screenshots) needs to be given permission by the user. Unfortunately you'll have to enable screenshots for Greenshot in the system preferences. Go to "Security & Privacy" -> "Privacy" -> "Screen recording" and enable Greenshot.
WARNING for long-time Greenshot users: Greenshot for Mac is NOT as feature-rich as you might expect when you were using it on the PC before. We are doing our very best, but it may take a few months until you find the feature you are missing.

Just the basics
It has maybe the most important features from the Windows version, but lacks the refining and customization that makes the Windows version the best.
The lack of options on Text like fonts and size are really hard to understand.
The arrow design is terrible and I would prefer to have the simple arrow, also would be good to have the dual pointing arrow
There is no option to reset the numbering what will make the work a lot manual if you tried to use the same screenshot for 2 diferent process
PC version is fantastic however the mac version is lacking
Working from home means I am missing Greenshot. It’s the best PC screenshot tool there is.
I have just bought this for the mac and it’s so frustrating not to be able to do the same things. Resizing text especially! The arrows are so large and nothing is very subtle. Back to normal mac screenshot for me :(
No app has made me wish I was on a PC except this one (unless I am missing some key tools - and I’m sorry if I am being dim!)
This is not good
I'm sorry, but the Mac version of this is really poor. It has very basic functions and lacks many of the brilliant features available on Windows. I can't believe one has to pay for less when, for free, you get a lot more.
