GridRival Fantasy F1 & NASCAR 9+

This is definitely the best app i have used for fantasy f1 easy to use, work around and easy to understand. The leagues work great with friends and can really see how each person has gained points over a race weekend. The budgeting system to select drivers is great and the feature where you have to chose the driver for a certain amount of races and they cannot be used for one race after really puts extra thought into who to chose. One drawback is i keep forgetting to pick my team and lock it in before a race weekend, this is definitely my fault, however i feel there could be a system where i can chose when i am reminded to lock my team in and chose when the notification is sent out (the app does send a notification i just often miss it).

Apart from that 10/10 app and would recommend.

What sets it apart from the others (that I have seen) is the contract system. You sign drivers and manufacturers to your team for between 1 & 5 races. After this time you part company and sign new ones and if the drivers rating improved during their time in your team you have more money to spend and vice-versa. This makes it harder for one person to maintain a large lead at the top of the leaderboard as you can’t just put Hamilton and Merc. in your team from day 1 and dominate. You are, also, not able to sign a released driver/constructor for at least 1 race to prevent you buying the same team time after time.

Some of the app functions are a bit clunky (keyboard for example), but this does not affect 95% of the game.

There are global and local leagues which you can setup for you and your friends and you can have/join as many leagues as you want.

With the contract system you remain engaged throughout the whole season and also rooting for drivers you never thought you would because they score you points.

I decided to move my F1 Fantasy league from the official F1 app to Grid rival for the 2023 season! This was the best decision I made all year! The app is fantastic to compete in a league with friends as well as with overs all over the world. A great mix of strategy and knowledge is all you need to get a team together and start competing. I love the driver contract features, and the price changes for drivers/teams after each race week. Quick results, updates and fixes are all a part of the app and I have even contacted the support team a couple of times with quick and friendly replies. Already looking forward to another season with Grid rival in 2024, hopefully I can win AGAIN 🏆🏎️
