How does the app work?
1. You follow the step-by-step steup guide
2. You add data for each room in the house
- Room specification
- Radiator and/or underfloor heating specification
- Perform flow measurements
- After adding data for all rooms the base flow measurement is conducted
You can off cause save your progress by pressing the save icon in the top bar when it is visible
3. The app calculates recommended target flow for each preset valve. Then you balance the received flow on each radiator or underfloor heating loop
by adjusting each preset valve
4. The app helps you generate an official report with all needed data from the conducted balancing to handover to e.g. the owner of the house
5. You are done!

Poor roll out
Couldn’t agree more with the comments from the other review. This product is not pitched properly. Most plumbers wouldn’t have a scooby what to do with this. It is more likely like competent home owners are installing such a product. Better user documentation is urgently required.
Very good but could be better
The fact that there are too few reviews to give an overall star rating must be a worry to Grundfos. This seems to be the way forward but there appears to be low knowledge amongst installers and possibly little enthusiasm. Grundfos needs to be focussing this product on tech savvy homeowners like me and at least now they seem to talk to the likes of me - an interested homeowner and not an installer. I used this with my new Alpha 3B today and was impressed. It does raise some questions during use and the Grundfos support team seem to have quite a superficial knowledge of how it works. My query is being referred to the Product Manager. It would be good if Grundfos published a detailed manual alongside the app to answer queries such as how to incorporate the water circuit in an S plan system. The support team are very professional and accessible, just need a little more training.
