Paid upgrade is worth it
The basic free version is quite effective and useful for basics.
The magic happens when you drop the extra £2.99 to unlock the full version.
I bought this app as I am venturing into open D tuning and got fed up with trying to construct chords from first principles ( my music theory being rudimentary at best).
The unlocked version allows for many alternative tunings as well as custom tunings, and as far as I can tell, all the chords I need, including more exotic ones like add9, add11 etc, with more than one inversion for each.
Pay the upgrade. Highly recommended 😎

This is the most essential piece of software any young guitarist should own as his bible to better playing. Complete package of assistance you could ever need without a single pressure point to learn notation. Thankfully they have left that to the professorial types and other essential apps which teach you how to read. First impressions after paying for full version. I love that you can play the notes on the screen. You don’t get that from a book. The visuals are great too. Tons of different tunings and scales. Really opened up a world of new ideas. Very accessible and user friendly. Let your imagination do the rest.
