Great! With a little tweaking could be perfect...

I’ve loved the app and it’s made me so much more productive and now can’t wait to race myself through my habits in the morning :)

only thing is tho I wish instead of just “daily” or “weekly” they had an option for a repeated pattern such as every 2nd, 3rd, 4th day etc as there a few things I want to do every other day for example, and currently only have a choice to put them under an actual day or have as “multiple times a week”. This doesn’t work as “every other day” would land on a different day over a fortnight and “multiple times a week “ affects my stats if I wait to do it.

Also would like a way of monitoring if I go the extra mile and repeat a habit some extra times with some sort of boost button or something as I only put in a minimum expected habit pattern.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your very thoughtful feedback! In fact, we're working on the "every other day" function at the moment :)
If you want to repeat the habit some extra times then I'd suggest opening the calendar section of a habit and tapping on the day you "overperform" it, and you'll see it marked done as well!

Highly recommend

Thank you very much to the developers for the hard work they have put into this app. Not only is the app beautiful compared to some of its competitors, it is also highly functional. I especially enjoy the ‘time of day’ feature, which sorts habits into which part of the day they should take place. (The ability to repeat a habit a number of times a week as well as certain days is an honourable mention).

I have one idea that I would like to suggest the developers. This application would be even more powerful if you could ‘group’ certain habits together either through a tag or folder system. For example, I could tag ‘Study for Biology’ and ‘Study for Physics’ using a ‘school’ tag. This would make a noticeable difference in the usability of the app when you want to include many habits, as so far this app becomes less useful when more than a dozen or so habits have been added.

I forgot to add the app uses a one time payment rather than a subscription for premium, which for me on its own was reason enough to use this app over many of its competitors. Please continue this policy devs!

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for your feedback, it's the biggest motivation for us to keep up the good work. And yeah, we think your suggestion to group the habits is brilliant and really worth considering!

No allowance for going beyond set goals

The only way to see every goal every day is to set your completion goal to 7 days a week. If my goal is to complete something five days a week but I manage to do it six (hooray!), it's very difficult log it (there is a way but it's fiddly and tedious). I spoke to the developers and was told they disagreed that it would be motivating to complete goals more often than the goal you set to begin with. Excuse me? Maybe some people prefer not to see completed goals in their daily list, but surely for lots of other people, seeing the things you've already completed is MORE motivational than only ever seeing all the things you still have left to do? Not to mention the good feeling that comes from being able to log an extra completion, going above and beyond your goal? Bottom line: this would be an INCREDIBLY easy setting option to add (no need to make it universal because sure, people have different preferences) but I was really appalled at the developers' suggestion that I obviously don't know what I find motivating. There is absolutely no good reason for not including this as a setting option other than sheer arrogance.

Developer Response ,

Hi A is for Angie, I'm sincerely sorry if my answer has made you angry and unsatisfied. My meaning for my answer is that we're currently set up the formula to make the goal-reached habits to be disappeared from the active "All habits" but not to deny your opinion of exceeding habits nor negate your suggestion. Please contact me via in-app again so I can compensate for your inconvenience with my specific explanation. Wish you a wonderful day!
