Inspired by the Linux shell your smartphone turns into a hacking terminal. You'll get to know many people and companies - some will be moral and others may be evil. Listen to your knowledge of human nature and trust your technical skills to cope with this thrilling adventure. Perform well enough and you'll be a big boy soon!
Keep your feet on the ground and be prepared at all times! As you infiltrate your enemies danger's all around you. You'll need to pass several challenges and minigames to become the winner in the end. If you're keeping your eyes open you gonna find some hidden information which distracted hackers will miss!
Hacker's Quest is a virtual offline adventure. Playing this game will not teach you hacking. The entire computer environment is simulated. No real computers are hacked and we do not advocate hacking or other forms of cyber crime. Prior knowledge of Linux or computer technology is not required.

Amazing
An amazing hacking game, a lot of fun, addictive and I got really immersed into the story. The puzzle bits are good, the game could get by without them but they are a good addition and get you thinking, it may not be exactly like hacking but you do feel like an awesome hacker, hacking into companies and accounts, it would be cool to go bigger but perfect so far. It would be cool to get to the point where you could hack into military systems and things and uncover secrets and mysteries. At the beginning you feel like a hacker for hire which is fun, it would be even better if you could learn more and more getting better talents and tools. All round a great game and I wouldn't mind buying it if I had to. 👌
It’s All been said before
This game, while wildly inaccurate in places, does teach you some core traits for navigating and using a unix Os, and it does a lot to make you feel like you’re Hacking these systems one by one, it’s well thought out, and just difficult enough that you shouldn’t need a walkthrough (except for finding Hugo’s password as there is literally One hint and it’s a brute force trial and error game while you backtrack and re backtrack thinking you’ve missed something)
That aside, get this game, and be generous in donating to the dev team. It means we’ll get more great games like this!
For what it is, amazing
Immersive story with hidden jokes, stereotypes and characters the hacking element keeps the story flowing while adding challenges with cracking firewalls and working out passwords.
However this game hasn't reached its full potential, there could be more, you could finally help get Luka and Anne together, help Hugo and so on. Another criticism is that you aren't very sure of why you're doing anything at all. You get emails telling you to hack so and so, and you do that, how try get a hackers email, and why you'd work for them without any apparent incentive is never explained.
Overall for what it is it's an amazing game and a great way to spend a few hours, and it can be played a second time for a different ending. The puzzles can be unlocked straight away or by completing the game.
(I never understood Minesweeper till I played this)
