Just brilliant - perfect for my needs
I have been using Harvest for about 6 years now! It’s perfect for my needs, I love it. I am a freelancer who used to hate timesheets. Now it’s just a joy because it makes my life so much easier and saves me time. Harvest is brilliant because 1) it makes time tracking soooo easy with the desktop widget. It’s almost effortless and doesn’t feel like a task. 2) the app and the desktop web interface are so intuitive and easy - reports are a doddle. I can easily see what I can bill, what I have spent my time on etc. And the integration with Xero is really useful - I transfer invoices from Harvest to Xero with one click and go from there. Thanks to the Harvest team ☺️
Latest update is a downgrade
In previous versions, starting a task timer would stop any running timer. The latest version doesn’t do this so you end up double-booking time.
Also it would be helpful if the UI had the option to display time in hours and minutes rather than hours and fractions of an hour.

Thank you for your feedback — could you please contact our support team at www.getharvest.com/contact? Your time display is a function of your account settings, so we can help you troubleshoot. Additionally, we are currently working on the timer issue and will update you when it is live.
Much Preferred the older interface
Though the app has more functionality, I find the basic feature of logging time way more fiddly to use. Does not display well on iPhone 7 - I use notes on all entries and the notes are below the screen for me now. When I scroll up it bounces away. Doesn’t lock in place like normal scroll. The timers also don’t see to offer the option to just enter number -
Previously did. The timer also defaults to entering the start not the end value which was handled a bit more intuitively before. Just loads of little changes that add up to a way less pleasant to use app. Used to genuinely look forward to logging my time. Now find it very fiddly and don’t like it
