Ratings and Reviews
Hey folks, reading other reviews, I am glad to know I am not the only one to have the 'buttons on the left in landscape mode not working'. Really frustrating considering how fantastic everything else you do is. I have deleted and reloaded this program 4 times...still the same. I have told the guys at Hasbean and now they think I am a broken record...or they are they broken record cause they keep saying 'we have passed it o to the developer.....' Hey developer...Wake up please! Here is an idea, since the buttons I really want to use most are on the left, please move them to the right! And let others have my frustration for a while.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app.
Never ceases to amaze me how HasBean Steve comes up with so many ways to access his superb UK coffee content. The guy is a genius.
I can spend a whole morning just me, a couple of bags of beans, and this app, watching some episodes of In My Mug, using the included brew timer, and exploring new coffee blends.
The 'emergency coffee' (shake to pick and purchase coffee beans) is as useful as it is comical, I know I've been caught out with a depleting supply of beans in the past - oh the fear of going without the good stuff for any more than 24 hours!
If you are a UK person and you are into coffee, you need to know about HasBean, and you need to get this app.
The coffee tools like the brew ratio calculator and coffee timer are really useful too. I initially thought the timer would only count-down (not as useful for working out how much you need to dial-in after a failed brew attempt), but turns out it has a count-up timer built-in as well, just press start when the time is set to zero.
They have thought of everything.
Superb app. From a coffee perspective it's wicked, and from a business perspective this is a prime example of how to get your content out there.
Kudos to Steve and the devs!
Needs more work!
Just installed the app on my iPad 3 & instantly have the issues that everyone else is stating on here; landscape/portrait issues and icons not responding. It is effectively unusable and design-wise looks like an amateur's school project or something that has been written on a basic app development program (reminds me of Windows 3.11!). I would suggest giving this to a proper app developer as the issues you have appear basic but they can also address the design flaws.
I will be removing the app shortly after writing this and stick to the website for now. Hopefully I can install a much-improved version in the future.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
