Haunted Manor 2 12+

Good but challenging

First time on haunted manor, was very impressed with graphics, loved the font for the text at the beginning. Really tough game lasted a long time and you had to think through all of the puzzles. I had it on easy but still had to make do with the google walkthrough. It’s probably an older game and so does not have hints, a map and being able to adjust the darkness not present on this app. The darkness of the screen was too dark and I appreciate it is a horror but still you have to see things, this was a little frustrating and the absence of a map means you had to go through all scenes sequentially to get too and fro. But a really good game at a very good price with tough puzzles which I am sure more experienced players will appreciate.

Almost brilliant!

A good long game with challenging puzzles and i highly recommend it.
I didn’t give 5 stars though because there are a few things to improve:
1. It is frustratingly dark, even with max brightness. This will eat-up your battery. Plus, many things you simply cannot see and so you just tap randomly all over the place. To be honest, it gets annoying quite quickly. If nothing else, change this!
2. The inventory gets quite large, quite quickly and some of these things you’ll be carting around for much of the game. When you are struggling, you just try every option and it becomes tedious with so many items.
3. On the difficukt mode, you can spend 1-hour+ searching for an item, only to get a sheet of paper that can’t be used until much later in the game. This happens a number of times and so there is little payback for your effort. This detracts from the game.
4. You have a bit of a memory leak, whereby items in your inventory cannot be selected. You have to kill the game and re-start it. Perhaps caused by switching to other apps with 4-fingers!? Only happened the once.

the game has improved so much

i wrote a bad review for this game a few days ago, not knowing how to actually play it... so i redownloaded it, thinking that i was just missing a part of the game or something.. and now that i know how to play, it’s a really good game! i was being dumb and i didn’t even know how to open the gate so i raged and let out my emotions. i am sorry, developers.. the game is very good and i misjudged it. would recommended ! very high quality. thanks, from Gabriel
