I strongly recommend reading this review! This app is amazing!! It allows you to do all kinds of courses to help you with meditation! Not only this but it also had relaxing sound to help you sleep which are effective. This app even has a section for physical fitness to help you keep motivated! This outstanding app helps with stress and anxiety and make you feel happy and relaxed! You can subscribe to this app so that you can go online with others for meditation courses and get more options to choose from in the library! However, you do have to pay for the subscription. You may have to pay for some things but most of the things are free and very effective and in my opinion it is worth the money! If you live in a busy city and it is loud at night this app is great as you can put on headphones and block out the cars and people and listen to the soothing sounds of nature, from the beach to the Forrest. This is perfect for people who struggle to sleep well or have stress and anxiety, or even if you want to get motivated to exercise! I recommend this app to everyone and it is definitely worthy of 5 stars! I think this app if perfect for ages 12+ and you should consider downloading it! RELATABLE, HELPFUL AND JUST OVERALL AMAZING
I first found out about this app a couple of years ago. I was indecisive about wether to subscribe. Yesterday I did subscribe and it has helped me in so many ways. Watching some of the animation videos makes me tearful (joy) because of how relatable they are and it projects exactly how I feel and think. It’s nice to listen to a voice who understands truly and has great knowledge about the brain, body feelings and thoughts that people experience day in day out. This app was 1000% worth the purchase for anyone who struggles with mental health and just needs meditation and a voice to listen to. I find that I’m am constantly over thinking at night time and also struggle to sleep. This app offers solutions for both by claiming the mind and taking the ease off of the racing thoughts by practising breathing and mediative techniques. This app offers 24 hour support videos and voice recordings in which you can access at any time leaving you feeling not alone with your thoughts and it’s like having a easily accessible therapist who makes you feel better about everything at any given time, any given place and anywhere in the world.
be careful with it
when suffering from mild depression and stress i thought id try this app to help myself. Within a few weeks i was making progress in ‘letting go of stress’ and my anxiety and depressive thoughts were reducing as i was starting to feel a sense of calm during the day. This carried on for a few months and i learned that i had the power to feel calm when any thoughts or feelings arose that bothered me.
After months i stopped as things had improved, however i realised now that most of my personality was made up from these anxieties and worries of situations i had which drove me to be a certain type of person and hang out with certain people. Shortly after i became depressed again but in a different way, it was more like a lack of feeling anything good or bad particularly which i am sure is due to visualising a sense of calm in myself whenever negative thoughts or feelings arose, therefore this left me with only this boring calm feeling.
I then drifted from the majority of my friends as i lost the desire to socialise and i am currently trying to rebuild my sense of identity with therapy.
I think this app has many benefits, however it is sold as a cure for all problems when in fact there may be many deeper issues that meditation cant solve and where therapy or medication would be more suited.
Dont treat this as a substitute for other help as i did !!
