Hear Boost: Recording Ear Aid 4+

A bought the full app a few weeks ago and found it does exactly what I needed. Just came to use it again though, and it demanded another £1.99 (for upgrades) if I wanted to listen again (unless I waited for a couple of minutes). I was happy with what I paid for originally so forced upgrades is not fair.

I think it would be awesome if this app can work with all Bluetooth speakers so one can use it as a live PA system with awesome effects. At the moment, I find that it works better with my echo devices and not my Bose Sound link micro unless I connect to my echo devices first, disconnect and then connect to my Bose Sound link micro. Other microphone apps work with my Bose Sound link micro Bluetooth speaker instantly. As smart phones now have more than one built in microphone, it would be really good to be able to choose which microphone to use or use more than one simultaneously for stereo or multichannel recording. It should also be possible to choose any built-in phone microphone even if one is wearing headphones to help reduce feedback from built-in headphone microphones. Lastly, it should be easier to share recorded files as at the moment, when I share recordings, particularly on WhatsApp, instead of sending the recorded file, one receives a link to the App Store to download this app. However, files do share very well using iOS messaging service. Putting all of this aside, I still say that this is a fantastic app and I highly recommend it. ☺️

Thanks for your suggestions. So glad you’re getting good use out of our app. The microphone selection is a good idea. We’ll see about adding that! As for sharing, it attaches m the recording as a sound file along with a link to our app (gotta spread the word somehow! 😊) We’ll look into that Bose connection!

This app was installed for me as I became very hard of hearing very suddenly afet3 days in Marie Curie hospice. I had a very severe chest infection which spread rapidly into my ears and throat.
The app,was installed and my hearing improved. When I don’t have this app on I just can’t hear anything or I struggle with hearing.
I highly recommend this app, not for deaf people but for hard of hearing.
It’s been a godsend to me , and will suffice until my appointments with the audiologist.
