Excellence in Simplicity
I have been playing this game for years. It has never crashed. It has worked on successive upgrades of the iOS. It is functionally straightforward. It is an immensely enjoyable game especially when you need to zone out. This game, although perhaps not as complex as some, still manages to set the highest bar in terms of quality. Good work.
Built in bias
I had another version of this game which I was happy with until and IOS update ruined the layout. This game has an inbuilt bias. I have been monitoring it in case I was imagining it but I have found that a certain player hardly ever loses while the user player will end up with the dreaded Queen of Spades over and over again. I am now almost able to play a card knowing how the algorithm will workout. Very frustrating. I will be deleting the app.
Can be addictive
Took awhile to grasp what the rules were, like why was I credited with 26 points when I scored nil. But once I figured it out I have been more watchful. Hard to putt down once I got use to the game, and as soon as I thought I had mastered the skill to win every time i started losing again.
