When using Help 113, the emergency center can automatically get your location. It can save vital time if an accident or sudden illness affects you or someone near you. Hjelp 113 also contains location and information about defibrillators in Norway. You can call and send your location to either fire, medical or police emergency centers
To provide quick help, the emergency center must know where you are. Are you far from home, without an address, in the woods or in the mountains? It can be difficult to explain where you are while it is urgent to get help. Use Help 113 to call the emergency center. Then your GPS position will be automatically sent via the mobile phone to the emergency center while the call is in progress. Thus, ambulance or air ambulance can be quickly sent to the right place, wherever you are.
NB! Remember to start Help 113 and enter your phone number today. Then the app will work when you need the help quickly.
