Description
Holy Rosary - Scriptural Edition, featuring audio recordings of students from the Catholic Franciscan University of Steubenville.
The appropriate mystery is loaded for that particular day when the application launches. For Sundays, the mysteries are chosen based on the current liturgical season. You can also manually choose which mysteries you would like to pray along with by tapping the image on the screen and choosing from the menu.
A passage of scripture is read prior to each Hail Mary which helps us to dive deeper into the mysteries of the rosary as we ponder our Lord's birth, life, death and resurrection.
Many people use this at night before they go to bed, or listen/pray along while they are in their cars or on-the-go. Just launch, press play and pray!

Beautiful
There are no adverts with this app, it is scriptural and therefore very inspiring, easy to use and it has a lovely prayer in between for babies in the womb, those in Purgatory for priests and religious, married and families.
A great find !
I had been looking for a scriptural and audio rosary for a while. This app does deliver both !
The short scriptural reading of the relevant mystery is before each Hail Mary and the group praying is pleasantly paced and reverent. Not too fast !
There is a nicely coloured picture of each mystery synchronising with the relevant decade.
I love the addition of a special prayer for aborted babies, for priests , souls in purgatory , families and marriages at each decade.
The settings take some getting used to, as there is no initial menu for choosing, but it is easy to adjust to the rosary of the day with the pop up choice ( which you get by tapping on screen )
The fast forward is according to seconds rather than actual prayers or parts of the rosary.. So it is a case of rough calculation to skip the opening prayers ( eg if you are praying more than one rosary )
On the whole, a great find, and thank you very much, folks ! :-)
