Fantastic walled garden of screened content and games for growing toddlers. My som loves this and has gone through “Crocodile and Rita”, “Fireman Sam”, “Tractor Tom”, “Wonderballs” and other content.Combine this with ipad content locking (to prevrntt access to any apps you havnt approved) and its a safe childminding app.My only criticism would be that it should give more parental control over both how long it can be used per day (yes, you could do this via content control..) and also on groups of videos - there are some video collections that we don't want to expose him to, and that should be fixed asap. Otherwise 5 stars.

I have a 5 year old boy who doesn’t really watch much tv but needed something for those moments when he needed some down time or for longer journeys. Love Hopster. No ads. Carefully selected programs- all age appropriate and with great themes. Feel secure letting him choose what to watch. He also loves the books too and now he’s reading likes the choice of being read to or reading along. Lots of other options too so plenty to keep him occupied! Would highly recommend.

Hopster in my opinion was a great app, but they’ve just brought in a new feature “ no more binge watching”.. which will suggest / stop the viewer from watching same show after 3 episodes. Now while I think it is a good idea about no binge watching this feature is not suitable for my son.He has classic autism and although he does not watch shows for hours on end or even up to an hour ,he does not even watch a show from start to finish. He does however re watch the same clip ( it lasts only a few seconds) over and over again...repetition, he will do this for approximately 10 minutes in any given day not all day btw.This will cause problems for children that need this stimulation from this repetition .
