Fantastic game. Definitely a sim rather than arcade gameplay- guide now in-game!!
This is definitely more of a sim than an arcade fishing game, but the developer has now included an in-game guide which is very clear/concise. This is great for someone who hasn't fished before like myself. Now I can't put this game down!
It plays extremely well. Casting feels good, and fighting the fish and keeping the line tension down can be a lot of fun. The graphics are very nice. The map view is serviceable, but would have looked better with more realistic graphics. The actual fishing graphics are great, especially now the water is animated- you are playing against a photo, but there is an animation that overlays the water. Very nice. Rod animation is good, especially when you hook a fish. Sound is excellent. Lots of ambient noise makes it sound like you are actually there. There is lots of value too, with many lakes to unlock with championships. Overall, I thoroughly recommend this app for anyone with an interest. Novices PLEASE read the in-game guide first, as it will help a great deal, and you will get more satisfaction out of the game knowing where on a lake to look for certain types of fish etc- and keep reeling in, as you will have more chance of catching one. I love this game!

Forget the rest of the fishing game apps this is the best by far! Great graphics and game play.
Only thing I find hard is the casting, could do with being abit easyier. Only seems to go the same distance everytime. Maybe made better in a update soon.
Apart from that top marks!!! Well done!!
Dont bother
This game tries to be to much of a simulation game, its a good idea but doesnt work, you can spend hours without a bite, casting is akward with a max of 50ft, difficult to use lures as soon as you real in it comes to surface, when you do manage to catch a fish the graphics are terrible and you just reel it in without a fight in a matter of seconds then you must wait another hour for another bite, flick fishing is far superior in every way, the only thing that this game has on flick fishing is that you can drive a boat to a different location but again graphics are poor, fish finder doesnt work and you dont catch when you do move. Do yourself a favour save the extra cash and just get flick fishing its far superior!!!
