iBomber 9+

Once you get over the shock of the un-welcome 'boarder edges' of the playing area/maps and you get to grips with the speed control (by correctly calibrating/reseting the tilt mid point for comfortable speed control) then the game itself becomes more enjoyable each time you play.. Good presentation, graphics, playability and sound, currently I play this game the most.. If only the game maps could employ a similar 'continuation concept' as in some games where the vehicle you control goes from one edge straight to the other sides edge like in Asteriods for example, therefore no edge problem.

this is a blast (boom boom). I love the graphics style, just the right balance of cartoony and photorealistic.

One slight weirdness is that you can fly up to the end of a map and sort of 'clang' against the edge. Not a big deal (just turn around and fly back) but a bit odd so thought I'd mention it.

Loads of levels, atmospheric and a good range of weapons. Stats at the end of a mission on your accuracy (mine is dreadful) give you something to replay for, and it's all very Dambusters.

Sounds and looks great, gameplay terrible. The black border stops you from straying, but spoils the play and does not give room to turn and line up the bomber on the target. The field of view is so limited that by the time you see anything it is too late to adjust line of flight and get bombs on target, so you finish up twisting and turning and dropping bombs at random. Sure, you can improve with practise, but no satisfaction to be had for the casual gamer with a few minutes to spare.

More work on the physics and a bigger field of view and flight and it might be a decent game.
