What is iBP?
iBP is a blood pressure tracking and analysis tool. Please note, it is not possible to measure your blood pressure by touching the screen. A separate device is required.
What kind of analysis does iBP provide?
iBP uses color icons to indicate when your blood pressure values are normal, high, or hypertension. It also provides interactive graphs that allow you to display your values by weeks, months, year and time of day. The graphs display lows, highs, averages, and trend lines using statistical analysis.
Why iBP vs. other blood pressure apps?
iBP is a universal app designed to work on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, which means you only pay for the app once and you get all versions! iBP is the only blood pressure app with a built in transfer capability to sync all your iOS devices.
What are the key features?
* Reads and writes Apple Health blood pressure, pulse, and weight data (details below)
* Easy data input using dials instead of keyboard
* Transfer capability to sync all of your iOS devices
* Calculates Mean Arterial Pressure and Pulse Pressure
* Track one personal item (blood glucose, stress level, medication dosage, exercise time)
* Backup / Restore capability
* Multiple users
* Multiple email addresses (you and doctor)
* Multiple email formats (PDF, HTML, CSV, Plain Text)
* Passcode to protect your data
* Touch Id for passcode on devices that support it
* Snapshot of the graphs can be saved
* User configurable color ranges
* Weight units (lb or kg)
* Withings Blood Pressure Monitor & Wireless Scale
iBP is now able to read and write Apple Health blood pressure, pulse, and weight data. If your blood pressure monitor (i.e., Omron, iHealth, Withings) adds data to Apple Health then you can easily import that data into this app. If you manually input your data into this app, then it will write that data to Apple Health.
Withings + iBP = No more data entry!
iBP can retrieve your blood pressure and weight data directly from your Withings account. The Blood Pressure Monitor and wireless Body Scale automatically record and send the data to your account. There is no data entry required and you can view the data anywhere using a web browser or a variety of mobile apps.

* Fixed issue with deleting readings in Apple Health
* Fixed several issues on iPad full screen line graph
* Fixed issue with importing weight from Apple Health in kg

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a replacement for the app I used to use, HeartWise, because it did exactly what I needed at the time. I used it to log my blood pressure readings for my GP and heart specialist. Unfortunately that app is no longer.
I tried downloading a free one that had good ratings but it wanted me to register with them and provide personal details for use as specified in the lengthy terms and conditions. Then I found this one recommended by another user of the ex-app HeartWise.
It is excellent. Better than HeartWise because it has more functionality. Straightforward data entry and once you start getting readings in there, the beauty of the graphs become apparent. There is handy colour coding, too, making it visually obvious when your readings are in the “high” zones. You can easily switch the graphs between the time periods of day, week, month, etc. And also isolate am or pm readings. There is also a summary screen that shows averages which is really useful to see how things are progressing overall. I haven’t tried the exports yet but so far I’m delighted. There are no ads to interrupt your use.
A good looking and really useful excellent app
Needed an app to record and display blood pressure readings. Had been looking for an app that had a range of clear, quick to read graph displays, simple data entry and editing, and was easy to use. Love the instant warning red marker that comes up if BP too high etc when you are entering new data. Can see at a glance the high, low and good areas with the red, yellow and green markers in addition to the actual graphs. This is a well thought out app. This app ticks all the boxes for me except just one. I would like to see iCloud sync between iOS devices in the next update, other than that, I really recommend this excellent app.
Perfect for the job
Easy data input, and records kept and presented clearly, usefully and logically. Shows trends. Relies on accurate BP readings being input. I always take at least 6 each time, it results in greater accuracy showing trends. Would be useful to add notes and actual readings to charts when sending by e-mail.
Doctors readily accept the readings when giving medical advice and ask for updates by email. What more recommendation?
