Best podcast app

I downloaded this at least ten years ago when the apple podcast app was having some issues. I’ve never looked back. I listen to several podcasts a day and love all the features of this app. They keep it simple and allow me to create playlists, set sleep timers, search for new podcasts and I’ve never had any issues.

There are more popular apps out there and I’ve tried most of them to see how they compare. There is no comparison and I don’t think I will ever find one that beats this.

Thanks for all the work, the updates and keeping the app stable and with no issues for ten years!

Just Great

This podcast app is fully featured and has every adjustment you could think of and then some. I have seen reviews describing it as complicated but it works perfectly 'straight out of the box’. I have tried several of the other most popular apps of this type and find iCatcher to be the best. I use it every day for audio and video podcasts, as it automatically syncs between my iPhone and iPad, which works great.
Some people have criticised the UI, but this is a very personal thing and I think it is just fine.
One last thing that I think is most important is that the developer is responsive to feedback and updates the app regularly.

Best podcasting App I've found...

Really excellent app, which has loads of great features if you want to play around, but is also very easy to use if you want something simple.

Best feature is automatic sync'ing between devices - so that if you start listening to a podcast on your iPod, get half way through and have a break, when you start listening again on your iphone it automatically picks up from where you left off.

Much better than Apple's own 'Podcasts' which has so many issues and bugs it is not fit for purpose.
