Awesome way of using Mastodon

The quality of this app, the speed of development and the completeness of it’s coverage of Mastodon features is delightful.

I like the open source model and this project has multiple contributors. The donation payment model is much nicer than pay-up-front-for-I-don’t-know-what. Subscriptions always make me consider what I’m getting into. Wouldn’t mind a regular donation option as well as the give something now.

Nearly there

Fast Mastodon client with a slick design, very pleasant for browsing through your feed. Couple of issues holding it back from being my only Mastodon App though. Media posting is fairly buggy, pasting or selecting a GIF/picture to upload sometimes results in nothing happening with no indication as to why. Browsing and reading posts is close to perfect, but you can’t tap and hold on links to act on them, tapping and holding on a link or link preview is treated the same as tapping and holding on the post itself, which means you can’t see a link in your feed and tap and hold on it to add it to your Reading lIst, for example. To act on a link, you have to open it in the in-app browser first and then action it from there. I often find links in my feed I want to read but don’t have time for immediately so being able to add these to my Reading List straight from the feed by holding down is a pretty important feature for me.

Those two niggles are really the only things keeping me from making this my sole Mastodon App, I otherwise really like the design, UX & performance

Really like this, but...

This is the best Mastodon app to show full media previews, and for that alone I will continue to use it. However, the feed stalls and spurts and sputters so much that it is becoming a pain. The flow is not smooth. At. All. Even clearing my caches (which I do several times a day) does not clear things up.
Also I would very much like to be able to put my iPad down and resume my feeds on my iPhone right where I left off on my iPad. Other apps do this. I wish Ice Cubes would. Even when I resume on my iPad, it doesn't show where I left off and it takes me a while to figure out where I was.
