Fantastic app

I will be giving the developer a tip because this is a fantastic app. My only feature request would be a time limit to the home feed if this is possible. I’d like the home feed to only show me posts from the last 24 hours, with this feature being optional of course. For me, this would help me feel a sense of getting caught up. Then I could check Mastodon once a day, knowing I’d seen everything from everyone I follow.

Nearly there

Fast Mastodon client with a slick design, very pleasant for browsing through your feed. Couple of issues holding it back from being my only Mastodon App though. Media posting is fairly buggy, pasting or selecting a GIF/picture to upload sometimes results in nothing happening with no indication as to why. Browsing and reading posts is close to perfect, but you can’t tap and hold on links to act on them, tapping and holding on a link or link preview is treated the same as tapping and holding on the post itself, which means you can’t see a link in your feed and tap and hold on it to add it to your Reading lIst, for example. To act on a link, you have to open it in the in-app browser first and then action it from there. I often find links in my feed I want to read but don’t have time for immediately so being able to add these to my Reading List straight from the feed by holding down is a pretty important feature for me.

Those two niggles are really the only things keeping me from making this my sole Mastodon App, I otherwise really like the design, UX & performance

Great app but you need alternatives for when bugs hit

An app that improves substantially upon the official functionality allowing so much control of your feed. You can really dive down to a personalised display now - lists with groups of tags, customisation of the main buttons, pinning stuff easily, syncing across feeds from device to device - or not if you don’t want this - the defaults are pretty sensible too. So much, and no subscription!
Unfortunately, two major bugs atm. Searching or going to hashtags often bit not always only displays a partial feed of a few posts and won’t scroll back correctly.
On ipadOS you often hit a display bug where text displays on top of the previous page then you have to force quit it.
Also, be aware there’s options defaulted to on that mean you giving data to the openAI without a warning (but plenty to enjoy if you turn these options off).
