Easy ico and favicon creator

I was looking for a way to easily create all the icons I need in different sizes plus Favicons too and found this. Yes, you can, possibly, do it all without this software by using various other image editors but I just wanted to output my design from Photoshop and then drop it into the software to automatically create the icons required.

And that’s what this does. Simples!

PS. I also used it to generate some replacement icons for the ones I didn’t like in Yosemite (too bright for my taste). Worked perfectly and I’m a happy bunny.

Great little app use on every web project

First let me begin by saying ignore the negative reviews. Some folks are too stupid to know what this app does and then rate it 1 star, crazy. How someone could think this was an app to create the actual artwork in at £2.99 is beyond me.

Now a days on web projects you have to create a load of icon files. Not just the standard favicons but the apple iOS icons. Then you have these to create these at different sizes. I use this app to create all of the above. I also create larger images at the same time as I generally use this for Twitter and Facebook avatars and carry the design through.

Creating these icons by hand is a right pain, even Photoshop can’t create .ics files without a plugin this app makes all this painless and lets you save all your icons in one file.

Highly recommeded.
