Great App but . . . .

I really like this training app and have been using it for over 2 years. I subscribe to the training ‘plan’ which helps keep me motivated to maintain my training.

I only have one slight issue with it in that I don’t think the training plan takes age and ability into consideration. At 53 years old I am all too aware that my body is unable to make the type of strength gains I could as a younger man. As you move through the three month training plan the workouts become obviously harder and harder. However, I am of the opinion that older people such as myself are not able to keep up with the increase in intensity and lack of rests between the sets and therefore I feel a bit demotivated as I can’t keep up.

Perfect for getting back in shape

I was a regular gym goer, but that’s no longer possible and this app in the next best thing. I love that the workouts on the plan are a good mix to keep me motivated, not too many push notifications, it allows me to fit my training around my life. A couple of enhancement suggestions, it would be good to go straight into a pause after each exercise rather than having to swipe up. Also it would be great it there were 1-2 tips mid exercise, e.g mid plank maybe “keep stomach tight” or keep legs active” would remind you to check your posture but also break up the time. But anyway I love it!

Great app

I come from a fairly active background having been a regular gym goer for a few years, however my body, most likely due to my age (40) and heavy lifting has started to not enjoy the gym too much.

I opted for this app as I’m sure many others did when the apocalypse happened as it’s been a great find, the workouts are as challenging as you want/need them to be, they are a good length so are easy to fit in around your daily schedule and I have definitely felt the benefits, I am not as strong and probably not carrying as much muscle but my body feels the best it has in years, I am fitter and really enjoying this different way of training.
