Words With Friends 2 Word Game 4+

I have been playing this game for about six years now and I find it fun and relaxing. However, I am now cautious and am wary of nearly every man that starts a game with me.
Just read some of the reviews and learn that these scammers are targeting many females. I have had so many men wanting to chat and find out personal details about me and want another way of communication ie “Hangout” (which I do not use and have no intention of using). A lot of them are posing as Americans and a lot say they are in US army or some other high profile profession which is supposed to impress me.
Every time my answer is the same, I tell them I am quite happy to play the game and chat a little on Word but that’s it. If they want relationships or friends , go to a chat line or dating site. Usually they get the message and just abandon the game but sometimes they are persistent and keep on.
I am too switched on to be taken in by these idiots but there are some lonely people out there that might get caught up in the lies. So 4 stars for the game, not 5 because of the pests.

I’ve been playing WWF for 4 years, I’ve always had fun playing because I love spelling, learning new words etc. Anyway, of recently someone requested to play with me and I accepted their request, then they sent me a message to talk and I don’t usually talk to people on the app but I said let me see what they want and accepted their chat request. From the jump I knew the person was illegitimate but I thought I’d humour them because at least they was playing the game and playing back fast! Cut a long story short, today I said to myself I’m going to block this person because they’re really creepy! As I went onto the app I’d seen the WWF staff had already removed them (for my safety as they said in their message to me) from my players and adjusted my scoring to make sure I don’t lose out due to this person, and I want to thank WWF for doing so. I really appreciate that your staff are working hard to keep genuine people in the WWF community safe. Also I’ve had issues in the past of not getting trophies when supposed to or coins and whenever I reach out WWF make it right so again thank you WWF staff for your hard work!!! I 100% recommend this game regardless of the tiring adverts 😩😩😩💜💜💜

Really, really hate what they’ve just done to this game. The latest update, November 2023, has introduced lots of stupid, unnecessary and annoying changes to the game. For a start, the appearance of the board now looks like a large print child’s book, secondly, the useful option to decide whether you definitely wanted to play a word or cancel has gone, thirdly, when you score a certain amount, say 20 points, a stupid logo flashes up and dances in the middle of the screen to tell you, along with other dumb messages that keep popping up such as the one to helpfully inform you that if you score the most points in the game…guess what, you’ll win !! Another new and particularly irritating feature is that very often the letter tile you are trying to play keeps pinging back to the bottom of the screen each time you try to place it!!
The size of the information bars at the top and bottom of the game have now shrunk in size and every time an opponent plays against you the top bar is completely obscured with a pointless notification of that fact so that you can’t see the scores in the game you are actually playing at that time.
This used to be a great game that I’d play for hours but it’s just been ruined and has really put me off it.I only hope they undo these stupid things soon but I’m not holding my breath.
